iDeneb on Asus P5W DH DELUXE

 

This post is for iFred who has requested how to install iDeneb. 

First get all your bios settings correct as per previous post, then start up from dvd. Once in the setup partition your drive “GUID”. Once in the customize installation menu select as follows.

Audio – ALC882

Chipset – ICHx Fixed

Kernel – Vanilla

Video – As per your video card

Install and away you go………….. :-)

    The network controllers are not working for me.
    Haven’t you picked a driver?

    Dont choose network drivers, they should work out of the box with leopard and vanilla kernel.
